Vets on Parker’s Templestowe cattery is a bright, clean, warm and most importantly a safe environment for your beloved feline friend to enjoy while you’re out of town. Cat boarding accommodation types

Vets on Parker’s cat boarding in Templestowe offers:

  • Reverse cycle air-conditioning – keeping the room at optimal temperature day and night.
  • Large outdoor garden area – for cats who like to lie in the sun and stretch their legs.
In addition, each cat condo and home is equipped with a fluffy bed for your cat to sleep in, a large litter tray and fresh food and water. You are also welcome to bring in your cat’s favourite toys and bedding (just put a name tag on them first!). During their stay at our Templestowe cat boarding, your pet will enjoy a premium quality diet with Hills Science Diet Cat Food. We are also able to fully cater for any special dietary requirements your cat may have and you are welcome to bring in other diets or special treats that they like.

Cat Vaccination Certificate requirements

A current F3 flu and enteritis vaccination certificate is required on admission. If your cat’s vaccinations are not up to date, Vets on Parker can vaccinate, worm and provide flea treatment for your cat on admission.

Professional veterinary care is available onsite at our cattery

If your cat needs medical assistance at any time during their stay, we have a fully equipped veterinary clinic just upstairs. We regularly board animals requiring medication and diabetic animals needing insulin. We also collect all your contact details on admission so we can contact you if there are any concerns during your pet’s stay. You are welcome to call us at any time to see how your cat is going.

Cattery bookings

Owing to our good reputation and convenient location, our Templestowe cat boarding is often fully booked, so we suggest that you book in advance – especially if you are going away over school holiday periods or public holidays. Please phone us on 9850 1355 to make a booking or to enquire. A deposit is required for stays over the Easter and Christmas holiday periods.

Yes, all cats entering our boarding facility in Templestowe must have received an F3 vaccination within the past 12 months or an F2 if they had an F3 within the previous two years.

If your cat’s vaccinations are not up-to-date, please contact us at 9850 1355 to schedule a vaccination appointment. This may be arranged on the same day as admission.

Yes, our cattery attendants will send you personalised messages and photos of your cat via SMS or email every few days.

Yes, Vets on Parker does offer boarding services for rabbits and guinea pigs. However, spaces are limited, especially during holidays, so please book well in advance to secure a spot.

The cattery check-in times at Vets on Parker, Templestowe are:
Monday to Friday – 4 pm to 6.45 pm
Saturdays – 1 pm to 3.45 pm

Check-out times are:
Monday to Friday – 8 am to 10 am

Vets on Parker provides Hill’s Science Diet Kitten, Indoor Adult and Adult 7 years+. If your cat is on a prescription diet or has a specific food preference, please provide this in a labelled bag or container.

Please provide rabbits and guinea pigs with hay, greens, and pellets for their stay. We are happy to purchase fresh greens for them each week for long stays.

Yes, our cattery team is trained to administer medications, including injections.

Thanks to our on-site veterinary clinic, you can be confident that your pet will receive close monitoring during their stay. If any concerns arise, a member of our veterinary team will promptly check in on them.
