At our Templestowe veterinary surgery, most of your pet’s care will take place under one roof. We are proud to be able to offer you and your pet almost all the services required to keep your pet happy and healthy. As pet owners ourselves, we know that life is better with a happy pet.

With any luck, your pet will never need to have complicated orthopaedic surgery. However, if that situation does arise, rest assured they would be well cared for by Vets on Parker.

At Vets on Parker we perform routine orthopaedic surgery on a regular basis. In some instances we may engage the services of a specialist surgeon to perform your pet’s surgery at Vets on Parker if they require a more complex surgery. We will always offer to you what is in the best interest of your pet.

The types of orthopaedic surgery performed at Vets on Parker are:

  • Simple cruciate repair (de angeles surgery)
  • Complex cruciate repair (TPLO)
  • Luxating patella/dislocated knee cap
  • Femoral head and neck excision
  • Fracture repair

If your pet has been booked in for an orthopaedic procedure at our Templestowe veterinary surgery, please read the before and after surgery page so that you and your pet are prepared for the big day.
