At Vets on Parker your pet’s health is our priority. Our Templestowe clinic has all the necessary diagnostic facilities and equipment onsite so that we can work out what is wrong with your pet as quickly as possible. Prompt diagnosis means faster treatment and ultimately, a better prognosis.
Our clinics all have digital X-Ray technology available on site. Our units allow for quick and precise images to be taken of your pet’s bones as well as soft tissue structures like the heart, lungs, liver, spleen, bladder, stomach and intestines.
In certain cases, Vets on Parker will also have your pet’s images reviewed by a specialist surgeon or radiologist at no extra charge.
If your pet’s problem cannot be diagnosed with x-rays alone, your vet may recommend more advanced imaging. Advanced imaging includes ultrasound examinations (which are done on-site) or CT/MRI imaging (which require a referral to a specialist centre).
You will always have the opportunity to review your pet’s x-rays and discuss the findings with your vet. In addition, your pet’s images can be forwarded to you via email.
